Once again, Margo announces its obtention of a Gold certification awarded by EcoVadis for its commitment and performance in terms of Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR). The rating ranks Margo in the TOP 1% of the companies of its sector!
Margo has been assessing its CSR policy investments by EcoVadis since 2013. EcoVadis is the first rating agency dedicated to the evaluation of the sustainable actions implemented by companies. The assessment covers 21 indicators gathered in 4 topics (environment, labor and Human rights, ethics and sustainable procurement) drawn from international CSR standards.
This approach proves its commitment and allows Margo to identify its areas of improvement in order to build a social and environmental policy ever more relevant and consistent with market issues. This is how Margo climbs to the top of the podium, moving from the TOP 2% in 2016 to the TOP 1% of companies evaluated, all categories included, today.
This certification recognizes in particular its investments in social policy, since Margo ranks in the TOP 1% of its sector in this category (versus 4% in 2016) thanks to its actions in favor of career management, training and respect for labor law.
« Our CSR policy is an integral part of Margo’s human resources policy. My goal is to be part of a process of constant progress, which is why, in keeping with the ten principles of the United Nations Global Compact, we strive to evolve, communicate and monitor the most relevant indicators. Since 2012, we have adopted a CSR charter, a responsible purchasing guide and have implemented concrete actions within Margo for a responsible company committed to people and our planet. It is important that all our employees, customers and suppliers share this commitment and take our initiatives to heart. » Says Cécile Campagne, Human Resources Director at Margo.
Cécile Campagne specifies « Since our last evaluation, we have improved our positioning in the ranking by the implementation of several measures, particularly in terms of the environment (building environmentally responsible, dematerialization of part of our HR processes, implementation of selective sorting, lowering our paper and energy consumption…), well-being at work and career management (privileged working environment at #LaPiscine, organization of numerous events, regular internal newsletter, creation of the Talent Manager role, increased investment in training …). Aware of the footprint we leave as a company, in our direct or indirect work environment, we want to continue this commitment, involving all of our employees. »
