Role overview:
As a Senior IT Data Developer, you will join IT section of the department called Group Business Support Services (GBSS), which provides a wide range of services to the bank, formulating and implementing real estate strategy, managing Business Delivery Centers, and delivering business support services including security, records management and language services.

GBSS IT provides large number of IT applications built on diverse tools and technologies to support GBSS services. In addition various transformation and innovation initiatives within GBSS require huge involvement of GBSS IT.

Within the team you will support the strategic complex projects in requirements gathering and analysis, scope control and supporting communication and strengthen cooperation with the business entities.

As a member of the team, you are responsible for:

  • Requirements analysis together with business

  • Facilitating the formulation of requirements by providing optimal data models, advising in data requirements specification, advising in systems architecture and designing, etc.

  • Designing and developing database structures based on the requirements

  • Designing and developing the most optimal data flows among systems

  • Assuring architectural consistency of the data models and interfaces across the systems

  • Supporting the reporting team in aligning data models and interfaces to the team’s needs, supporting reports optimization

  • Supporting testing, test automation and data quality improvement process

  • Supporting existing and new queries optimization

  • Supporting database performance improvement

  • Supporting knowledge transfer and knowledge transfer documentation

  • Following software development processes and standards


The position is ideal for you if:

  • You have strong command and experience on SQL and PL/SQL

  • You have strong command and experience in building and maintaining Data Warehouse structures

  • You have strong command and experience in data governance, data management, data structuring

  • You have strong command and experience in Oracle database (including DDL, DML, DCL, TCL, data modelling, query optimization, database instance tuning).

  • You have experience in ETL processing (knowledge of Informatica PowerCenter is preferred), interfaces designing and development, integration

  • You have experience in requirements specification and business analysis

  • You are able to work in a SCRUM team and focus on delivery

  • You speak English very well


Would also be great if you are familiar with:

  • Different types of interfaces (file transfer, queues, WebServices)

  • Processes designing and processes to systems’ components mapping

  • MS SQL database

  • Java/.NET programming

  • BI, BA, and Big Data concepts
